We met some old friends today at Chick Fil A today at lunch!  Addi loves playing with the Nygren boys, Colten and Julian!

Addi was very anxious for Daddy to get in from out of town. She drew this airplane while she waited all day for his delayed flight to get here.

January 29

Rainy day in Georgia! Lots of storms and tornadoes too.  I kept Addi home from school and Drew was in "storm-mode" off and on all day at school.  I think I heard that 5 tornadoes touched down nearby but thank goodness, we were spared!

January 28

Addi got a new LeapPad for Christmas.  The battery compartment latch broke off so I had to call the company.  They said they would send us a new one but I had to "deface" ours by writing a number across the screen in permanent marker and sending them a pic.  Hmmmm.....dry erase looks just like Sharpie! ;)

This is pretty much how Addi spent the day today.  I was working on consignment sale stuff ALL DAY so her and Drew were basically on their own! Isn't she a cute little princess???

Holley and Greg went out on a date to a Father/Daughter Brownie event.  Loved seeing Holley all dressed up in a dress, heels and tights because she is a MAJOR tomboy and normally turns her nose up at clothes like that.

While the kids were at school, the 4 of us snuck off to Red Lobster for lunch!  Gotta love a coupon and cheap lunch prices!

January 24

Drew is an electronics FANATIC!  He is obsessed.  One of his favorite things to do lately is to go to Best Buy and just browse.  He would stay for hours if we let him.  (I detest going in there and rate it up there with hanging out at Home Depot).

January 23

Uh oh!   Addi and Holley had a collision in the game room of a restaurant and Addi hit her head on a game.  Jennifer (Jackie's next door neighbor) is a nurse and fixed her all up.  She said she thought it was very close to needing stitches but she would probably not take her in,  Whew!

January 22

Today is my Mom's birthday.  She would have been 75.  I can't believe that she has been gone for almost 17 years.  Makes me sad to think of all of the things that she has missed.  Love you, Mama!

Jackie, Belinda, Taylor and the kids and I all decided to go eat at Jersey's where Shannon works.  She LOVES when we sit at her table (NOT).

January 20

We all gathered over at Jackie's to watch the Falcon's play in the play offs.  Unfortunately, they lost to the 49'ers.  Final score was 24-28.

January 19

We love to go hang out at the Avenue on Saturdays when we don't have any plans.  We ate dinner at Chili's and then tried out the new cupcake shop across the street.  OMG!  Yummmmmmy!!

Jackie and I had a GNO at Westridge church!  They had a great speaker and then we met some new friends for dinner at Longhorn.  Fun night!

I took Addi and her little friend Lyla to the library for a Tea Party!  They thought they were something getting to drink out of real tea cups!

Addi was invited to a birthday party for a friend from preschool (Bowen).  It was held at Sparkles skating rink.  It was so cool because it was only open for preschoolers and toddlers. And they were able to bring their bikes and riding toys onto the rink. This is her first time trying out her new bike that Santa brought!

The Atlanta Falcons made it one step closer to the Superbowl today in the last 6 seconds of the game.  What a way to rise up, Falcons!  Jessica and Shannon tailgaiting before the game!

Drew, Addi and I went to the movies to see Parental Guidance.  It was a cute movie and kinda cool because it was filmed in Atlanta and the little girls name was Harper!!

We all met over at Jackie's for a family reunion on Jeff's last night here.  I think there were 22 of us total.  It was a ton of fun but can you say...CHAOTIC!  I love having a big family!

My brother, Jeff is in town visiting from Alaska.  Addi has met him but she doesn't remember him.  On the way to Jackie's she asked me..."Now, what's you brothers name?".  LOL  She LOVED him!!!

Oh Pinterst how I love thee!  I got this cool idea from Pinterest.  Just mix a drop of food coloring and shaving cream together and it gives you about 30 minutes of free time. Addi loved this and I had time to clean the bathroom and fold a load of laundry while she was "painting"

Back to the old grind!  This is my front view every day at about 3:30 picking Drew up from school.  Ho hum!

January 6

The holidays have come to an end and it's time to rejoin the real world.  Keith had a flight out of town today so he is headed for the airport. It really hit all of us hard this time and the kids and I were all in tears when he left!

A night out with JJ and Zuri.  This time the husbands got to meet! We had a great time and everyone hit it off perfectly!

When we went in Addi's room this morning.....this is what she had been doing.  She LOVES her Lalaloopsy dolls!

Lazy, lazy, lazy.  Keith has been off of work for over 2 weeks and we have gotten so lazy.  This is what I walked into yesterday....Keith glued to a football game on tv, Drew on his Ipod and Addi on her new Leap Pad.  All still in pj's!!

I went and met my "internet friend" JJ and her little girl Zuri at Chick Fil A.  This was only our second meeting but I feel like we have been friends FOREVER.  As you can tell the girls think so too!

Addi was sick on New Year's Eve, so Keith kept her home while Drew and I went and hung out with Jackie and the gang.  Shannon and David came over.  We had soooo much fun ringing in the new year!
