We took Hannah and Addi to the coolest place at Phipps Plaza!  It's called the Pink Pastry Palace and they have EVERYTHING girly that you could ever imagine.  These girly girls were in heaven!!

Keith left to go out of town for work and since Drew was gone too.....Jackie and I decided to have a little girl time.  She only had Hannah so we took them to get their nails and toes painted.  This was the first time Addi has been and she was so excited!

 Drew left this morning for Rush with Westridge Church! They are headed to Daytona Beach for the week!  He has never been gone for that long so I was a little nervous, but not too bad!  I didn't think.  As soon as the buses pulled away, I burst into tears.  I just sobbed and sobbed for about 10 minutes.  Keith tried to console me...but it didn't really help.  Once I got the crying out....I was fine with the whole situation and not upset at all!

We went over to celebrate Hannah (my niece) turning 9 years old today!  Happy Birthday, Hannah!

You are looking at a SEVENTH grader!  Today was the last day of school  I have a love/hate relationship with summer vacation.  I LOVE not having an alarm clock, and the lazy days.  But I HATE the constant bickering, boredom and "Im hungry" every few minutes!!

The tutu closet!  I love buying tutus for Addi.  She will only be wearing these for a short time frame so we are taking full advantage of it.  I bought this armoire last year at IKEA to hold all of her tutus (and lots of other things).  It makes me happy when  I open this door and see all of these!!

Addi was watching the tv show, Calliou and his mom made him a "Happy Face Waffle" for breakfast and she thought it was the cutest thing.  I decided to surprise her with one when she came down for breakfast!  She was over the moon excited and had to tell Drew and Daddy all about it.  Just call me Supermom!!

Keith had to run to Home Depot in the middle of yard work today and of course, Addi insisted on going with him.  She was all decked out in Snow White attire so I made him take the camera to have someone snap a pic of them.  Poor Keith...the things I make him do!

Shannon and Harper went to church with us and we all went to lunch afterwards!  This is really the first time that Drew got to hold Harper because he was sick and then he said no one would give her up the last time we saw her.  LOL....we are pretty stingy with her!

I was over on Austell Road the other day and decided to drive by our old house.  This is the house that I grew up in.  It's looking REALLY bad these days! Makes me sad because I have sooo many good memories of my childhood in this house! (The window on the right was my room).

Today we took Addi to Sparkles for her end of the year preschool party!  She had so much fun but I don't really think she grasps the idea that there will be no more school for a while.  She loves going to school and had a fantastic year!

 Addi's preschool graduation was so sweet!  She sang her little heart out and stole the show! I am so glad she is only graduating from 3 year old preschool and not kindergarten, or high school......or college! Sigh.

May 15

The last day of preschool. They get her out and put her in the car every day (wonder if it's because they don't want me getting out of the car in my pj's???). I am so sad that Addi is finished with her three year preschool year!  I was so undecided about where to put her this year and finally decided on Bethel.  It has been wonderful.  It's not big and as active as McEachern Methodist where Drew went, in fact there are only 2 small classes. But it has been great for Addi.  I know when I drop her off in the mornings that they really love her and she gets tons of attention!  I couldn't be more happy with my little girls first school experience.  Now....to figure out what to do with her next year, hmmmm.

Perfect day for the park! It was absolutely gorgeous today so I decided to take the kids to the park.  This was day 4 of Drew being sick and he was finally feeling better so we needed to get out of the house!  We went to the little park in Hiram.  They have done so much work on this park...it looks fantastic!!

What is a princess to do with so many choices of shoes?  LOL!  I walked in Addi's room the other day and saw this display of all her dress up shoes all lined up!  It's quite obvious that a little girl lives here!

Addi was being a pill so I couldn't get everyone together for a picture so I decided to just get a pic of Shannon's first Mother's Day with her new daughter.  Harper is the sweetest thing and Shannon loves being her mommy already!

 Uh oh, look who is sick now!  Yep, Drew.  Exactly one week after Addi had it, Drew called me from school to come and pick him up.  He has been in bed all day today!

Some of the other mothers from preschool and I took lunch to the teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.   We took the kids outside to play while they enjoyed a quiet meal together.  I am going to miss these girls next year.....they love Addi to pieces!!! And that makes this mama happy!!!! :)

We went to Holley's game and as soon as we got there...she was up to bat!  That little stinker hit a home run!  She is the cutest little tom boy I know!  Yay, Holley!!!

Today was the 6th grade Field Day!  I tried to talk Drew into letting me come and watch but he wasn't having it at all.  I think my Field Day...days are over with for him, sadly. (Still have Addi coming up though).  I did con him into letting me take his picture in his shirt before school this morning though!

Dentist Day!  I take both of them on the same day for their twice annual cleaning.  I LOVE their dentist.  She is the sweetest thing and so patient with them!

And here is the other new smart phone owner in our house!  (Ignore the silly face...this was taken at like 7 am).  He has begged and begged for one and I finally relented!  To say he loves it is an understatement!

This is the week for new Smart phones in our house!  Keith finally joined the real world and now has an IPhone.  He loves it!  He cracks me up with it because let's just say he is not real tech savvy.  I am not the most high tech person either but I do know the basics (and what I don;t know, I ask Drew).  But Keith is a hoot when it comes to the internet!  He already has a camo case, picture of a big buck for the screen saver and grunt calls (don't ask) for the ring tone!  Ha ha!!!

May 4

This is Addi today.  She woke up at 4 am throwing up (in our bed...yuck).  We have her set up on the couch with blankets and a big puke bowl.  Washer has been going since 4:05 am.  I guess we will be staying home today...it's cold and rainy outside anyway so a good day for hanging out in our pj's.

May 3

Addi and I had a girl's night!  We went to CFA (see salad post from yesterday if you are wondering what I ate) for dinner.  Then we went to see Annie at the local theater in Dallas.  I love to take them to shows there because it's so convenient and stress free.  Didn't realize until we got there that Drew's music teacher from PB Ritch was a main character from the play so that was fun! After the show, Addi took off and before I could get to her had made her way up on the stage.  Here she is with some of the little "orphans".  Cute! We ended the night at the cute little cupcake shop on Main Street!!  Fun night with my girl.  (The boys went to eat wings and see the movie GI Joe).

Have you had Chick Fil A's new salads???  They are YUMMY!  This is the Asian one and OMG...I have already had it twice and may go back again tomorrow!  Wonder how fattening it is?  I'm scared to look.....just keep telling myself that I am doing good by eating salad.  Don't you agree??

This is how I caught Addi at least 7-8 times today!  I washed the strawberries and put the big bowl in the refrigerator.  Every time I turned my back, she was sneaking in there and eating them!  Love it!
